Background: Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a chronic of multifactorial etiology. The role diet as risk factor for GERD has not been clarified yet and obesity referred to potential factor. Objective: To study determine the prevalence dietary implications among female population in Hail region Saudi Arabia. Methodology: A cross-sectional was conducted through virtual platform using google forms data collection. Setting Participants: total 459 subjects randomly participated study, an online questionnaire. Statistical Analysis: Excel work sheet used compile calculate frequencies percentages. Out 12.3% were reportedly suffering from GERD, 21.7% obese those 17.2% confirmed presence childhood obesity. top lifestyle factors related eating less than three meals day 53.2%; skipping 85.1% (especially breakfast 50%); consumption fast foods 59.6%, pickles 55.9%, caffeine 84.3%, fatty food 91.5%; drinking sour juices 28.6%, Chief complaint symptom reported heartburn after by 36.9%. Our findings suggest that public should be recommended eat at least regularly, avoid meal-skipping, control on triggering factors, promote weight loss better management GERD.
